DESCRIPTION:This is the next step in your personal defense training. This course builds upon our pistol fundamentals course with a heavy emphasis on mindset\, awareness\, emergency reloads\, and more. Here students improve their pistol-handling skills by applying all classroom knowledge to the range with Certified Instructors.\nThis is the next step in your personal defense. The Defensive Pistol course is to help students become aware of their responsibilities when concealing carrying a firearm. This course introduces students through a series of classroom scenarios and drills to challenge the decision-making process before\, during\, and after a defensive shooting. Each student will learn problem-solving techniques and build confidence in their pistol-handling skills. Additional information regarding the live-fire session is below.\nPrerequisite: Pistol Fundamentals with Live-Fire or equivalent.  \nWHAT YOU’LL NEED \n\nStudents will need to provide their own firearms.\nDouble or single mag pouch.\nParticipants will need 150 rounds of ammo for the live fire portion of this course.\nStudents will need their own holster (IWB or OWB). NO SERPA HOLSTERS\nStudents will need a concealed garment (jacket/vest/coat/shirt etc.).\n\nThis is a 6-hour course with a maximum class size of 12.
