SUMMARY:2-Day NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting- November 28th-29th
DESCRIPTION:Our 2-day NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting with live fire is perfect for students new to firearms and busy during the weekend. The student will build a foundation for firearm safety and knowledge in this course. Taught by a Certified NRA Instructor\, the student will participate in the live-fire training and nationally standardized shooting qualification. \nDay one: (5:30 pm-8:00 pm) The classroom portion (3 hours) covers pistol function\, safe firearm handling\, firearms storage\, ammunition selection\, and more. \nDay two: (5:30 pm-7:00 pm) The live fire portion of the course (1-2 hours). Students will then take their classroom knowledge onto a private range with a Certified Instructor. Completing this course qualifies you for a multi-state concealed carry permit issued by the State of Virginia. No previous firearm training is necessary\, and Bear Arms Training will provide all firearms and hearing protection included in purchasing this course. \n\nAmmo and the range fee are additional costs.\nParticipants need 50-100 rounds of ammo for the live fire portion of this course. Ammo is available at the range\, or students may bring their firearms and ammo.\nNo live ammo is permitted inside the classroom portion of the course.\nAll firearms must be cased and unloaded. NO EXCEPTIONS.\n\nThis is a 6-hour course with a maximum class size of 12 participants.
