Diving into the Curriculum
Our curriculum is meticulously crafted to help you become a more confident and capable shooter. Throughout the course, you’ll achieve proficiency in key areas, including:
Trigger Control and Trigger Manipulation
Refine your trigger press for consistent, accurate shots by understanding how speed and accuracy work with these three key areas.
Grip Pressure
Master your ideal grip for stability, recoil management, and rapid target re-acquisition.
Red Dot/Sights Confirmation
Understanding how red dot/sights confirmation is balanced with trigger manipulation, grip pressure, speed, and accuracy.
Mental Management System
Develop a winning mindset by isolating and improving each key area that contributes to peak performance.
Shot Calling at Distance
Identify your shots on targets at 7, 10, 15, and 25 yards with consistency and confidence.
Transitions (Emotional & Physical)
Transition smoothly between targets, adjust for varying distances, and maintain accuracy under time constraints. Learn to balance red dot/sight confirmation and trigger manipulation.
Feedback-Driven Improvement
Receive real-time coaching and analysis to identify strengths and areas for development.
Eligibility and Prerequisites:
The Performance Matrix: Pistol Mastery Course is open to participants aged 21 and older who have completed a basic firearms course or equivalent training. This course is ideal for intermediate to advanced shooters looking to fine-tune their technique and gain a deeper understanding of performance shooting.
Live-Fire Session:
The highlight of this course is the hands-on live-fire training, conducted at one of our partnered ranges. During this session, students will apply learned techniques under the guidance of our Certified Instructors. You’ll work through a series of precision drills, focusing on accuracy, speed, and most importantly-consistency.
Equipping Yourself:
To fully engage in the live-fire portion, students must bring:
- 400-500 rounds of factory or re-manufactured ammunition (recommended brands include Federal American Eagle, Fiocchi, PMC, and MagTech).
- A reliable pistol.
- Sturdy holster- non-drop leg holsters (NO SERPA).
- 3 Magazines (mo’ is bedda).
- Protective shooting glasses and ear protection.
- A high-quality gun belt for stability.
Important Safety Note: Firearms must remain holstered, at the ready, or on the target unless directed by an instructor. Any breach of safety protocols will result in immediate removal from the course.
